Importing images onto planes in 3DS Max

Here in 3DS max 2 planes were created, one to hold the front image and the second to hold the side image. These two planes would build the reference plane required to model the head.
Using the material editor to apply the images onto the planes.

Using the rotor tool and cloning the planes I could make a copy of the plane to hold the images that would be used for the side of the face. By cloning and rotating the plane allows me to keep the same settings and image sizes for both planes so that they remain in-line.

There were some issues with imported the images on the planes. I had to adapt the settings in the graphic configuration in order to get the best possible image quality onto the plane that my PC could handle.

Now I had to align the images onto the planes. This was overcome by the use of UV Mapping modifiers and the Gismo tool to align the images perfectly and correctly to begin the modelling process.
